Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a night shift nephrology
telemetry position requiring a MO or compact RN license and
Peritoneal Dialysis experience. Responsibilities - Work in the
Telemetry Unit of an acute care hospital - Patient population
focuses on nephrology patients requiring telemetry monitoring -
Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6 - Night shift position
with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 - Shift includes two
weekend shifts every other weekend, combinations vary based on
existing rotation - Floating within scope may be required to meet
facility needs - Uses EPIC for charting and EMR documentation -
Navy colored scrubs are required - Responsibilities include
providing specialized nephrology and telemetry care to hospitalized
patients - No on-call requirements - No local candidates accepted -
No block scheduling options are available - No more than 7 days of
requested time off per 13-week contract; no time off permitted
during the first week of orientation - Travelers can stay for up to
18 months and must take a 3-month break after that period -
Hospital-provided parking at no cost Requirements - Active MO or
compact RN license required - 1-2 years of RN experience preferred
- Current certifications required: BCLS and NIHSS - Experience with
Peritoneal Dialysis required - EPIC charting experience required -
First-time travelers will be considered - Must reside outside a
75-mile radius from the facility - Permanent employees must wait
