Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU
for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours,
nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or
Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years
of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must
be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon
successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral
bonus available. Opportunity: RN - MICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour
night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours
per week (must be specified on submission) • 13-week assignment
length • Weekend hours required every other weekend • No call
requirements • Patient ratio of 1:2 on a 22-bed Cardiac Medical
Intensive Care Unit • May float to other stepdown units based on
staffing needs • Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must
be available entire week for orientation • Required licensure:
Current RN license eligible for Missouri or currently licensed in
Missouri • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only,
NIHSS • Preferred certifications: TNCC • Minimum 3 years Cardiac
and/or Medical ICU experience required • Must have 2 years CVICU
experience recovering open hearts directly from the OR • Work with
equipment including Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal
cooling device, Arctic Sun • Use EPIC electronic medical record
system • Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions,
post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver
failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA • Dress
code requires black scrubs only • Perform direct patient care
activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation • Coordinate patient care with other departments and
maintain patient confidentiality • Physical demands include
standing and walking most of shift, lifting and turning patients
