qualified CVOR RN in Springfield, Illinois, 62781! Pay Information
$3,026 per week About The Position Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating
Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:15
- 16:45) Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience required, with
trauma or vascular operating room experience preferred. First-time
travelers accepted. License: Active Illinois nursing license
required prior to application. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS
preferred. Must-Have: Call 1-2 nights per week and every 4th
weekend required. Open to negotiating block schedules. Candidate
must float within the scope to meet facility needs. Ideally, no
more than 5 days of requested time off. Must work 2 out of 3 major
holidays. Description: Position for a CVOR Registered Nurse with
experience in cardiovascular and general operating room. Average
daily census is 10 patients with 4 operating rooms available.
Required competencies include skills in various cardiovascular
procedures such as Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass
Graft, and Mitral valve replacement. Candidates should have
experience in vascular procedures including Abdominal Aortic
Aneurysm repair and Carotid Endarterectomy. Experience in
endoscopic procedures such as Bronchoscopy and EGD required.
Whipple procedure experience is mandatory. Knowledge of Laser
Safety, Specimen Handling, and Universal Protocol is essential.
Experience in teaching hospitals and Level II trauma centers
preferred. Local candidates are accepted with no radius
restrictions. Candidates should meet all compliance needs in a
timely manner. Must have the ability to complete the full
assignment without attendance or behavior issues. Floating to other
