Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have active Illinois license in hand to apply Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Candidates must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must be open to accommodating block schedules as discussed with the manager. Candidates must work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays. Candidates must not have more than 5 days of requested time off. Candidates must possess the required certifications for the specialty. Description: Position available for a Surgical Intensive Care Unit registered nurse. The shift is 3 nights per week from 18:45 to 07:15. Minimum of 1 year of experience is required, but first-time travelers will not be accepted. Weekend commitment involves working every other weekend. Candidates will float to other units within scope as needed. The facility is an acute care hospital and a Level I trauma center. Candidates will have the flexibility to request their schedules with the manager. Active Illinois nursing license is mandatory for application.
