Must-Have: - Must pass EKG exam. - Experience in Medical/Surgical
nursing, blood product administration, IV management, and patient
care in trauma. Description: The Registered Nurse will oversee and
provide care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse
will manage trauma patients, including those with spinal cord
injuries and traumatic brain injuries. The role includes conducting
assessments, administering medications, and providing wound care.
Experience with surgical drains, chest tubes, and patient
management for acute conditions is required. The nurse will work
with geriatric trauma patients and provide care for victims of
abuse and violence. Basic knowledge of isolation precautions and
equipment such as wound vacs and high flow nasal cannulas is
essential. The position requires every other weekend attendance.
The nurse will remain flexible and float to meet facility needs as
necessary. Attendance and punctuality are crucial; specific limits
are set for tardiness and absenteeism during the contract term.
