Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This is a medical surgical unit that primarily serves patients with specialties in ENT, plastics, general surgery, and medical surgical care. The unit sees a wide variety of interesting cases. Ratios are 1:5-6. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected. Block scheduling may be accommodated. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week. The facility is permitted to have low census and cancel up to 36 hours per contract. All requested time off must be submitted with the application. Additional time off after signing will be at the manager's discretion. Clinicians must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start. Clean shaven is required for fit testing. Modules completed pre-start may vary in duration and are not billable. All modules are recorded on transcripts.
