Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years required, bedside experience within the last 6 months License: Pending License accepted; Missouri license or a compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience with titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes - EPIC charting system experience Job Description: - Work in a Step Down Unit with patient ratios of 1:4 - 36-hour commitment with every other weekend required; night shift flexibility between Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday - First-timers not accepted - On-call not required - Will float within scope to meet facility needs, may include floating to lower acuity floors - Block schedule accommodations not available - Must have completed orientation hours as part of the job requirement - Scrub color: Navy - Must adhere to compliance deadlines - Background checks are mandatory; certain background hits will not be accepted - RTO must be submitted at the profile submission; no changes permitted after submission - COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only - Fit testing for mask fitting required; facial hair must accommodate testing - All clinicians must complete orientation modules prior to starting
