Job Description:

Job Summary
Direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

As a Registered Nurse at SSM Health, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with healthcare teams, and ensure compliance with grant requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities


  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to provide well-coordinated patient care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and track outcomes.
  • Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to nursing care.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.


    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
    • One year of registered nurse experience.


      Physical Requirements

      • Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication.
      • Constant standing and walking.
      • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
      • Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry.
      • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
      • Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
      • Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication.


        Professional Licenses and Certifications

        • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
        • Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
        • Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
        • Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
