Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
This role works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team
to provide comprehensive care to patients and families in an
emergent or acute care setting. They demonstrate a high degree of
clinical expertise for patients with acute or urgent illnesses
commonly encountered within the emergency department or the BJH
specialty urgent care setting. The role demonstrates an advanced
level of clinical knowledge, interdisciplinary collaboration,
professionalism, and 0systems-based practice. They work with
nurses, physicians, med/surg trainees, and staff to assure safe,
effective, quality patient care. The position requires coverage of
evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Minimum Board
Certification(s):BJH: Adult-Gerontology Primary Nurse Practitioner
(AGPCNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Family Nurse Practitioner
(FNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), or
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) BJH Women's Assessment Center:
FNP or WHNPSLCH: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary
Care (CPNP-PC), Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care
(CPNP-AC), or FNP Preferred Board Certification(s):BJH Women's
Assessment Center: WHNPSLCH: CPNP-AC
