3 - 12 hour shifts0800-2030Weekend and Holiday call required:Approximately1 holiday call per year8 Saturday/Sunday call per yearOverview: -Same Day Surgery/Pre Procedural and Phase II is a fast-paced department providing care to pre- and post-op patients providing care and comfort throughout the patient's stay. - We work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other healthcare workers to provide patient care. - We monitor vitals and lab results and report abnormalities to our physicians - promptly. - SDS nurses must be proficient with their IV skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Critical thinking and communication skills are also essential. - SDS nurses educate patients on pre and post op care. - The shifts vary allowing flexibility and work life balance.Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
