Job Description:

Physical Therapist needed to evaluate and treat patients with movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, or other health-related conditions.

SSM Health is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Saint Louis University Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
  
• Establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care to address patients' needs and goals.
  
• Perform physical therapy interventions using standard techniques and skills to promote patient recovery and mobility.
  
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and effective discharge planning.
  
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
    
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
    
    
    Physical Demands:
    
    • 
      
    • Constant standing and walking.
      
    • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
      
    • Frequent use of hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
      
    • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far.
      
    • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, and repetitive movements.
