    Overview

Develops and implements therapy programs and in-service education.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Role PurposeAssists in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outpatient mental health program. - Responsible for providing immediate work direction to the outpatient behavioral health team. Coordinate department activities with those departments participating in the patients care. Works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat mental and emotional disorders, and to promote optimal mental health. -Responsibilities
    • Provides group, individual and in some cases family therapist to active patients. Develops and facilitates group treatment and education to patients.
    • Updates the treatment plan to reflect therapy goals. - Collaborate with other professionals regarding patient participation level, progress, and setbacks.
    • Utilizes community resources in the discharge plans of patients.
    • Provides clinical guidance and feedback to behavioral health counselors and case managers.
    • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
