We currently have a career opportunity for a Healthcare Data
Modeler/Data Architect with data vault 2.0, wherescapeexperience
and healthcare industry experience to join our team. -While
Perficient's headquarters are in St. Louis, MO, this role is remote
and candidates can be located anywhere in the continental US. Job
Overview: The Healthcare Data Modeler/Data Architect provides
technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance,
and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage
technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will
significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural
solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some
of the best talent in the industry to create and implement
innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various
pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is
considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor
Junior Architects and /or development team members. Perficient is

- This is a hands on data modeler role involving data analysis,
data profiling, data modeling and source to target mapping of data
which will be sourced from various internal and external databases,
feeds, and file formats.
- This role requires interaction and collaboration with end
users, executive stakeholders, business analysts, solution
architects, and technical architects.
- This role involves design, development, creation of conceptual,
logical and physical data models using Erwin.
- This role requires assisting analysts and designers to
elaborate requirements which represent project data requirements,
business process models, and complex business hierarchies.
- This role requires using Jira and Confluence to articulate
assigned work/tasks/stories, and provide project status to lead
architects, project managers, and business stakeholders
- Can be based anywhere US, looking for approx. 1 week travel per
quarter or a bit more if client requires, its 75%+ remote work!!
- 5+ years collective experience working as a hands on data
modeler in a data warehousing environment, creating conceptual,
logical and physical data models.
- 3+ years collective experience creating logical source to
target mapping documents to guide data pipeline (ETL/ELT)
development activities.
- Must have some experience and reasonable comfort working with
healthcare industry products or data and terminology.
- Dimensional data modeling and 3NF data modeling experience is
required.
- Must have experience working with the Erwin data modeling
tool.
- Must have strong SQL skills (8 out of 10) required.
- Must have experience working within an Agile Scrum structure
with the ability to seamlessly use Jira for work articulation and
tracking.
- Must have experience with Data vault 2.0 and Wherescape.
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
field.Preferred Skills and Education:
- Prior experience consulting to clients in internal or external
role(s).
- Experience working with a globally distributed team and
managing off-shore teams.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical
documents.The salary range for this position takes into
consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to
skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location,
training, licensure and certifications, and other business and
organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the
minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US
locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific
state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired
at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation
decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances
-regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current
salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note
that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does
not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus
