In return, we will train the right candidate. The Medical Assistant/Scribe will ensure accurate and timely documentation of the medical chart under the supervision of the medical provider. They will assist the provider by accompanying them during the patient examination, recording detailed information in the medical record (EMR). They perform other related medical record or clerical duties to increase provider effectiveness, efficiency and productivity for improved patient flow and smooth running of the clinical office.

Full Time: Monday through Friday (no weekends or holidays)

Monday 8:00am-5:30pm
Tuesday 8:00am-5:30pm
Wednesday 8:00am-2:00pm
Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm
Friday 7:30am-2:00pm

The MA/Scribe is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

Rooming patients and documents all vital information

Scribing information for the dermatologist

Qualifications:

Education:

Post High School education in a medical support field: Medical Assistant, CMA/RMA, Bachelors degree (pre med or pre-PA)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred

Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment

Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed

Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems

Must possess organizational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors

Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
