This full-time evening Medical Technologist/MLT position is located at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in the Core Lab department.

Weekend option available!

Overview:



The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques. The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Technician

* Education: Associate degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT
* Certification/Registration: MLT ASCP or equivalent

OR

Medical Technologist I

* Associate degree with MLT ASCP certification & 3 years clinical experience
* Approved Military Training (if applicable)

OR



Medical Technologist II

* Education: Bachelor's degree
* Certifications: MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required
