EMA / HEPACO services a multitude of industries including transportation, utilities, energy, environmental consultants, industrial facilities, terminals, environmental service companies, general contractors, property owners, and the public sector through our Environmental and Remediation Services divisions.JOB DESCRIPTION?* Responsible for providing inside sales support using the below responsibilities and functions.? Additionally, the position will at times require sorting and preparing hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste for shipment from the client's site including lab pack services. ? Essential Functions and Responsibilities ?

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Acts as the customer primary point of contact
    • Responsible for inside sales support
    • Requires regulatory understanding of generator requirements.
    • Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customers.
    • Handles customer inquiries and questions regarding company services, cost of services, and proper completion of required paperwork.
    • May revise and ensures completeness of waste profile forms direct from customers. Submits paperwork in a timely manner to appropriate approval department.
      • Reviews, prints and mails new quotes to customer. Request and files a signed copy of the quotation. Follows up on new quotes with customer.
      • Understands when to elevate issues.
      • Customer retention through routine communication with the customer to ensure service satisfaction and resolve any items.
      • Provide/develop solutions for all customer needs
      • Promotes service offerings to existing customers.
        • Follow up on new approvals to schedule as soon as possible.
        • Does profit and cost analysis on new and current business, ensures that most profitable disposal method is being used. Work on increasing margin dollars.
        • Will take waste orders from customers, submit scheduling forms to the appropriate facility, prepare shipping paperwork, manifest, labels, etc.?
        • Handles any non-conforming waste situation in a timely manner.
        • A minimal amount of travel may be required
          • Segregate chemicals by hazard class, packing compatible materials in appropriate containers and preparing for transportation, completing necessary paperwork per job, conducting various facility inspections as required.
          • Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when loading hazardous materials.
          • Develop good client relations by effectively communicating with customers.
          • Directs Field Technicians/Drivers assisting with waste collection.
          • At times, maintain a waste log for the customer's physical address
            • Data enter waste shipments into EMA's Waste Tracking System
            • Assist customer with regulatory response
            • Maintain a log of waste stored in the waste area.
            • Advise when supplies are to be ordered.
            • Maintain good housekeeping in storage areas. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education:?High school diploma or its equivalent required. Four-year college degree (Science major preferred) or 2+ years lab packing or environmental experience preferred. Experience:?Customer Service and prior lab-packing with environmental waste experience preferred. Knowledge and Abilities:?This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Introductory knowledge of high hazard materials management/assessment and cylinder handling. Good knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services Industry. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Requirements:?Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record search to company standards.?
