Boeing is seeking a manager for the International Government Services (IGS) Business within the Global Sales and Marketing Function. In this role, you will be required to develop win strategies and execute campaign plans that lead to international growth and sales for our services, training, technical publications, simulations, and global distribution offerings. As the International Manager, you will interface with a diverse and geographically dispersed team of Marketing & Sales professionals around the globe and will manage and lead a team of sales professionals, driving the team to meet or exceed sales goals. In addition, you will work closely with the International Platform Sales leads to ensure alignment of our platform and services offerings to meet customer needs. You will serves as the 'voice of the customer' in regards to sustainment and training needs while understanding and prioritizing customer requirements, driving the product development process to meet customer needs, understanding the customer acquisition processes and budget cycles, influencing the opportunities the team pursues, and ensuring the proposals the team submits are executable, profitable, and meet price to win. The International Manager will manage internal processes to include strategic business planning, New Business Fund (NBF) planning and execution, and all requirements of Boeing's Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP), as well as manage the administrative requirements associated with leading a dispersed team. The individual should be knowledgeable of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Cooperative Programs processes, as well as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You can expect to travel both domestically and internationally and will possess a record of outstanding performance in positions with ever-increasing responsibility. Responsibilities: Leverage resources and knowledge of Boeing products, services offerings, distribution capabilities, data management, training, simulations, and technical publications processes and operations to support customer commitments and confidence, shape customer needs and expectations, and gain competitive advantages while fostering business growth. Meet and/or exceed annual LRBP targets and shape pipeline opportunities for the next 1-5 years. Responsible for managing a team of Capture Team Leaders (CTL) covering an international region(s) with on time completion of all administrative requirements including: performance management, training, and recognition while developing the sales acumen of the team. Responsible for managing the Bid & Proposal funds allotted to the campaign pursuits assigned to the team. Leads the Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP) for IGS.Responsible to ensure Gate reviews are scheduled with appropriate participation, ensure the team has a defined price to win, ensure the functional elements of the team are aligned to include engineering, training, and supplier management, and facilitate execution of all Gate activity for Gates 1-4. Serve as the liaison to the International Platform Sales leads, Autonomous Systems, Space, and Distribution Services Sales leads. Support the IG & D Strategic Business Council with a focus on off platform opportunities. Focus on current and next year growth by ensuring team is following the IBAP process with solid win strategies, executable offers, and a path to expected margins. Understand the acquisition processes and budget cycles for customers in the European and Middle East markets. Work with the Global Marketing teams to develop strategies based upon knowledge of customer business, culture, geopolitical environment, acquisition processes, budget cycles, and requirements to shape emerging customer requirements. Leverage Boeing capabilities and work with core functions to qualify future pipeline opportunities. Accountable for helping set priorities from a sales and resources perspective for international services, training, and distribution programs while effectively managing and planning investment Funds (Market Assist, Business and Proposal, and GS & M budget allocations) accordingly. Leads a diverse group of sales professionals who pursue sales and campaign activities through executing strategies and tactics to foster business growth. Identify appropriate Campaign Team Leads to help secure win. Drive functional excellence for Global Sales and Marketing globally. Build strategic relationships with customers and international partners. Build an understanding of the future defense requirements, budgets, planning, and the opportunity for International Government and defense procurements globally. Accountable for managing relationships with other sales partners within subsidiaries, the region, and driving a One Boeing approach to winning sales. This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) Bachelors Degree Experience working on either international projects or an international statement of work 3 or more years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships 2 or more years of experience working with commercial and government proposal process Experience leading and influencing people in a matrix organization Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives Experience working with Senior Executives, government officials, and Military Leaders Experience interfacing directly with senior military officials, government officials, and executives Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time Experience working with geographically dispersed teams Current and active Secret Clearance - US Citizenship Required Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience) Five years of military sales experience and/or exposure to domestic/international military customers is desired Knowledge of service related products from transactional sales to Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs Operational military experience in Aviation Maintenance is desired Budget management experience is desired Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process is desired Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
