The Project Manager, Behavior-Based Automated Marketing, will dive deep into TD Ameritrades personalization journey, with our sights set on having meaningful, helpful and relevant interactions with our clients. Help us meet clients where they are, anticipate their needs, and have the right interaction in the right channel that helps them solve their need. See yourself collaborating with multiple stakeholders across Marketing and multiple technology teams focused on delivering data foundations, decisioning, and orchestration to transform the way we engage with and market to our clients.

  • Provide Project Management for large Marketing initiatives
  • Provide expertise, communication, and track of
    • Timelines
    • Issue escalation and resolution
    • Communications and status reporting

    • Stakeholder Management
    • Scope Management
    • Interface with multiple product owners, business leads, product managers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and secure appropriate buy-in/sign-off thoughout the lifecycle of the project
    • Ensure completion of appropriate technical deliverables as produced by Agile whole teams, make up of cross-functional expertise and potentially multiple teams
    • Identify, track and resolve/escalate project issues and/or risks
    • Identify key dependencies and help establish timelines, commitments, and monitor progress against expected timelines
    • Build expertise in automated marketing to help drive out the business objectives and correlate incremental releases, features, and go-lives with real business value, realized through the client experience General Skills

        • Familiarity with common Agile practices, Scrum service-oriented environments, and better development practices
        • Must be able to work with other teams across the organization that do not have agile practices or operate in more legacy workflows (i.e. waterfall or ticket based/shared services)
        • Ability to navigate complex release management environments and effective at planning and coordinating software releases at various intervals
        • Familiarity with Agile tools/products such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally Pivotal, Clarity, etc. is a plus
        • Ability to effectively break larger, more ambiguous work/stories into smaller more manageable work packages
        • Familiarity with techniques such as user story mapping, personas and persona mapping, visual management and information radiators
        • Effective use of video conferencing and other tools for enabling a collaborative work environment for remote teammates
        • Organized and skilled at archiving and managing/cataloging many physical artifacts Preferred Skills
          • Ability to engage with Business Partners with minimal oversight
          • Ability to handle multiple large project assignments simultaneously
          • Actively and proactively participates in collaboration sessions with other thought leaders, key personnel and stakeholders within project settings
          • Ability to think creatively and have flexibility
          • Extraordinary problem solving capabilities and conflict resolution capabilities
          • Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
          • A working knowledge of the project life cycle, project initiation, software selection, tasks around architecture runway, and product evaluations
          • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across organization
          • Ability to handle multiple priorities
          • Experience in facilitating large group meetings
          • Experience in presenting to senior management
          • Competent in the technical arena and understanding of system development, process improvement, and/or infrastructure
          • Experience in planning for and effectively managing project and program risks
          • Experience in conducting ROI analysis for potential and existing Projects
          • Experience in contract negotiation and management
          • Experience with Scrum and Agile practices for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
          • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
          • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Story Mapping, Backlog Grooming, PI Planning, and familiarity with Product Ownership and Product Management
          • Experience as a lead, whether formally or informally, expressing leadership and influence skills
          • First level Scrum Master certification: Scrum Alliance: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) preferred
          • PMP a plus
          • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
