About the Position Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Nearly 1,400 employees serve the company with business planning, communications, diversity, financial support, human resources, information technology, legal counsel, safety, and supply services. The IT Service Management (ITSM) intern or co-op works in the Digital IT organization and is responsible for maintaining ITSM processes and the associated software products. In addition, the ITSM intern or co-op works in conjunction with the ITSM Process Managers and Specialists to bring understanding to the usage of these processes. This is a January ? August Co-op position in St. Louis, MO. This is a May ? December Co-op position in St. Louis, MO. This is a May ? August Intern position in St. Louis, MO. Key responsibilities: * Participates in daily process management activities. * Under direct supervision and guidance, develop new services and processes. * Execute software product and process quality assurance testing activities as assigned. * Assist as directed in the delivery of new releases with the software product. * Develop understanding of IT Service Management processes. * Assist users in response to issues and questions concerning the software product and/or processes. * Develop and participate in the delivery of training material and information to assist users with the software product and the processes. * Maintain documentation and knowledge articles as required. * Provide assistance to the Process Managers and Process Specialists in process design, continual service improvement activities, metrics, status, and issues. * Participate in the agile delivery of the software product and processes. * Manage small projects and perform analysis. * Perform other duties as assigned by leadership, Process Managers, and Process Specialists. Qualifications Current student status pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent computer-related field from an accredited college or university required. A GPA of 2.5 or above.
