A Growing & Dynamic Food Manufacturing company is in search of a Quality Assurance Manager for their facility in IL.--The Factory Quality Manager is responsible for directing and supervising the development, implementation and administration of QA activities in the production in the facility.-- You will ensure the effective operation of HACCP and Food Safety Teams and drive Hygiene and GMP programs across the whole factory.-- The Factory QA Manager will provide support to every division of the facility.-- You will also work closely with the Corporate Quality Director.--REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: B.S. in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or similar scientific discipline.--EXPERIENCE:--- Minimum 5-7 years Quality Management experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry Must have strong knowledge and understanding of food safety / HACCP, GMP's, Allergen Controls, Sanitary design/controls, pest control, basic food regulations, analytical and microbiological lab methods desired and basic Food technology.
