Schlag Executive Talent Acquisition Recruiter...@SSMHealth.comJob Summary:Provides daily functional support and oversight of SSM s Health Centralized Investment Program supporting the Director-Investments / Deputy Chief Investment Officer.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Due Diligence: Works with internal staff and outside consultants to perform due diligence on both current and prospective managers across traditional and alternative asset classes. Supports efforts to evaluate the performance of the overall portfolio and recommend additional allocations to or withdrawals from existing managers and/or the termination of existing managers. Reviews the risks being taken within the portfolio and its contribution to total risk. Monitors and evaluate performance against return objectives.
• Liase with External Resources: Works with investment consultants and investment managers to optimize investment team resources and continuously enhance the portfolio
• Asset Allocation: Involved in the development of asset allocation studies, stress tests and portfolio rebalancing. Responsible for recommending and implementing various strategic and tactical allocations at the direction of the Director-Investments / Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
• Conduct Ad Hoc Studies and Projects: Supports the System Director Investments to prepare presentation materials for the Core Team and Investment Committee on various asset classes, investment strategies, investment managers and the long-term performance of the portfolio.
• Continues professional development to keep abreast of market news, current events, emerging technologies, & best practices in institutional investing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
  • Bachelor s degree and demonstrated progress towards a CFA, CAIA or comparable professional deisgnation. EXPERIENCE
    • Five years' experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
      • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
      • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
      • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
      • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
      • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
      • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
