Position Summary
The Assistant Manager, Revenue Growth Management, is responsible
for driving and accelerating profitable revenue growth through
promotional management and optimization across all three business
segments - batteries, lights, and auto care. A central focus will
be realizing incremental net sales and margin through advanced
analytics, optimization tools and insights. This role is within the
Trade Promotion Management team in our Pricing and Revenue
Management department.
Responsibilities
Trade Insights Strategy: Deliver value by optimizing customer
investment, mix, and promotion:
Evaluating promotion landscape in a consistent, structured and
disciplined way and providing training to sales on all trade
investment tools and processes in order to drive a revenue growth
mindset throughout the commercial team
Developing and analyzing reports related to Trade Investment by
combining multiple datasets and creating dashboard
visualizations
Performing pre- and post-event analytics on promotional events and
evaluating event effectiveness and execution against ROI
thresholds
Implementing trade investment and revenue growth strategies,
especially through the planning, reviewing and approval stages of
the Annual Business Planning process
Deploy new Customer Business Planning & Trade Promotion Management
(TPM) software to the commercial organization
Ability to assist with key ad hoc and strategic projects tied to
Trade Investment, Pricing, and other Revenue Growth Management
projects
Building strong relationships cross functionally including Sales,
Enterprise Data & Analytics, & Information Technology
Provide technical support as needed to customers of Energizer's
Trade Promotion Management software
What we are looking for
Experience: 3+ years with increasing responsibility in Trade
Promotion, Pricing Analytics, Revenue Growth, Finance, Category
Management or related field
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Power
BI
Ability to combine multiple data in Excel and/or PowerBI to
generate data driven insights
Power BI design capability strongly preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Excellent attitude, interpersonal and communications skills
Strong analytical experience/ability with a passion for numbers and
solving problems
Influential leadership and results oriented with proven track
record of delivering against expectations
Strong objectivity and comfortable making decisions based on facts
and supporting rationale
Ability to influence without having direct authority
Finance, Category Management and/or Analytics experience is an
asset
Power BI/Tableau Design experience preferred
Consumer products background preferred
TPM/TPO/CBP Solutions, Nielsen/IRI, Business Objects, SAP ad hoc
reporting skills are an asset
