Lumiere Place Casino, the pulse of St. Louis. About the role: The
Front Desk Manager directs and controls the activities of the Front
Desk, Telephone, Guest Services, Guest Relations and Concierge
functions to create a special welcoming and memorable experience
for our guests. Their primary responsibilities are to ensure the
smooth registration and cashiering functions of the Front Desk.
They oversee a team of Assistant Managers and Front Office staff,
ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on any problems,
guest requests, and special requirements. The Front Desk Manager
reviews daily arrivals, VIPs, special requests, group needs, room
assignments and coordinates with Housekeeping & Transportation
departments the needs of guests. They communicate with the
Reservations Manager & planning on room availability and selling
strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue and rate. What we are
looking for: Ideal candidates will have at least three years of
management experience within Rooms operations. The leader in this
role will have the ability to be visible in the operation, provide
recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle
concerns, or special requests for guests. Knowledge of full cycle
Rooms operations, labor control, and accounting as well as
proficiency in hotel property managements systems (Opera, Golden,
Workday, HotSOS, Micros Fidelio, Microsoft Office) is essential.
Ability to follow Four Seasons cultural and core standards,
policies, and standard operating procedures is a must. Excellent
knowledge of product, strong communication skills - written and
verbal and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Some
additional preferred qualifications for the role include a college
degree specializing in hotel/hospitality management, flexible
schedule, with ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
