that date:The IT Asset Manager (Hardware), working in a team
environment, is responsible for developing, implementing and
maintaining the necessary process(s) to manage pertinent
information on technology based hardware assets and their
status.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partner with stakeholders within the organization to develop and
maintain processes, policies, standards, systems and measurements
to effectively manage within the organization its Information
Technology (IT) hardware assets. This includes technology used to
manage Operational Technology (OT). The scope of this includes
cost, control, risk, compliance, business performance objectives,
and governance as established by the company and industry.
Stakeholders include all company departments involved with IT
assets, including the finance, procurement, deployment, expense
reporting, and management departments.
* Analyze, create implement and optimize business processes and
policies to ensure that pertinent hardware assets are recorded,
tracked and reported
* Leads the implementation of hardware asset tracking methods or
solutions across the enterprise. Ensure quality control throughout
the lifecycle of all company IT hardware assets by developing and
implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them.
* Monitors terms and conditions of hardware deployment and
exceptions and remediates anomalies when identified
* Maintain a working knowledge of Ameren core business processes to
allow for the effective application of practical solutions and
efficiency opportunities.
* Utilize integrated software solutions that connect and
standardize all company departments and asset repositories. Apply
and integrate appropriate tools to manage, monitor, and report on
IT and OT assets and inventory. Ensure automation is implemented
where applicable to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
* Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the
strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking
company assets within the Configuration Management System.
* Report the progress and impact of efforts to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required.
Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., engineering,
computer science, business) preferred. Consideration may be given
to candidates with extensive related experience without the
academic requirements. Seven or more years of technical experience
required in Information Technology. Five or more years of
experience in facilitating and leading asset management programs
with demonstrated continuous improvement efforts preferred. One or
more of the following certifications preferred: IT Infrastructure
Library (ITIL) process certification, CITAM (Certified I.T. Asset
Manager), CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management).
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate
will demonstrate:
Methodical Competence: Strong in project management and project
leadership and skills in business process analysis Functional
/Technical Competence: Asset Management knowledge and experience.
ITAM and/or ITIL Accreditation desired. Technology basic skills
regarding system platforms (MS & Oracle). Providing training to key
and end users Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Highly
motivated and results oriented. Strong presentation, communication,
organization, multitasking, and time management skills. Solid
problem solving and consultative skills required. Strong
Interpersonal relationship skills. Creative, flexible, resourceful
and adaptive. Effective at influencing all level of the
organization; peers as well as senior leadershipAll qualified
