The RoleThis role can be based anywhere across the East Coast of
the US. We're looking for an experienced marketing leader to join
our team. Reporting to the CRO, as our VP of Marketing in the US,
you will be responsible for building and managing a team of
marketers across the US. This leading role requires someone with
the energy and skills to get things done. Working closely with
other members of the team you will be the driving force behind
growth marketing campaigns.
The marketing team supports everything we do at Plentific and is
constantly executing campaigns to grow our customer base. We are a
complex team that uses offline and digital marketing tools. We have
an established core team with expertise in ATL, PPC, SMM, CRO, SEO,
PR and eCRM.
Responsibilities
- Set the overall marketing strategy for the business
- Execute our brand strategy, positioning the company as the
leading property management SaaS platform in the market
- Development of the team, including recruiting, hiring and
coaching new marketers. Our expectation is the team will double in
size over the next 12 months
- Develop innovative online and offline marketing strategies to
support Plentific's revenue goals
- Develop relationships with C-suite in various sectors to assist
in building a compelling, consistent value proposition for our
customers
- Proactive engagement internally with Sales and other teams
within the business, to ensure delivery of value proposition for
each customer
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual marketing plans,
driving strong execution
- Help build an effective marketing automation
infrastructure
- Periodically conduct user research to assess product market fit
and make recommendations to the management
- Prepare and maintain weekly performance reports providing
insightful commentary
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in a marketing leadership
role
- Previous B2B and B2C SaaS experience critical
- Marketplace business experience beneficial
- Track record of building and managing a large team team and
budget
- Experience with coaching and developing team members
- Expertise in multiple marketing platforms and tools including
CRM platforms
- Experience selling > $150k in annual contract values will be
helpful
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking
skills
- Knowledge of and insight into relevant market trends, with an
ability to think strategically
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive
products, and the market
- Passion for marketing, design perfection, brand building and
working in a startup environment
- Help with raising brand awareness for both our trade and
consumer audiences
- Ability to think out of the box with a can-do attitude to get
things done efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with
multiple senior stakeholders
- Good academic background in marketing, economics, business
management or a related field
