Job Summary:This position is responsible for overall performance
and assistance in the administration of Home Care services for AW
Health Care. The Regional Director of Operations is ultimately
responsible for ensuring that the all aspects of Home Care services
are managed effectively including: Operations, strategic and
organizational growth and development and regulatory compliance.
Regional Director of Operations must pro-actively and
constructively communicate with the Owner/Administrator to ensure
that a mutually beneficial understanding exist regarding company's
management and administration.Operational Oversight:Plans,
organizes, develops and directs home care-related services across
Missouri, Illinois and Wentzville locations;Provides oversight and
direction to all Home Care staff, managers and
employees;Responsible for hiring and on-going development of
managers;Oversees Home Care Managers to ensure requirements are
met, legal and cost effective;Monitors, assesses and manages
operational statistics such as productivity, efficiency, quality,
and profitability;Upgrades and implements an appropriate system of
policies, internal controls, and procedures;Provides analytical
support to internal management team including development of
internal management reporting capabilities;Develops and implements
a cost effective system for tracking and reporting on the progress
of the strategic plan implementation;Ensures that policy objectives
and operational procedures are developed;Assists in legal
issues;Allocates authority and/or trains managers to ensure that
all the above responsibilities are met.Team
Development/Leadership:Provides effective and inspiring leadership
by being actively involved in Home Care programs and services,
developing a broad and deep knowledge of program;Identifies
opportunities for AW to leverage cross-program strengths to take
advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organizational
challenges;Leads, coaches, develops, and retains high-performance
management team with an emphasis on developing capacity in
strategic analysis and planning and program budgeting;Promotes a
culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values
learning and a commitment to quality;Ensures staff members receive
timely and appropriate training and development;Establishes and
monitors staff performance and development goals, assigns
accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, conducts
annual performance appraisals and administers salary
adjustments.Financial Management:Assures compliance with financial
goals through oversight of budgets, routine monitoring of results
and analysis of variances;Assists in overseeing accounting
functions ( A/R, Monthly financial statements);Assists in making
sure that all payments are made in timely fashion. Assists
financial feasibility analysis of proposed projects and business
ventures.Strategic Planning and Development:Collaborates with
owners and managers to support organizational growth and
development;Assists in facilitation of development of long-range
and short-term strategic plans;Coordinates efforts over all Home
Care staff on site and across multiple branches and geographic
areas;Works with individual managers to develop specific goals for
them to reach, coaches managers on career development, and
recommends areas where managers can improve;Provides a yearly (and
quarterly) Executive summary SWOT analysis: S-Strengths,
W-Weaknesses, O-Opportunities, T-Threats;Manage and cultivate
existing relationships with funders to secure and expand recurring
revenue streams;Publicly represent AW Health Care with the media
and external constituency groups including community, governmental,
and private organizations;Assists in Sales and Marketing efforts
for current and future contracts.#CB
Requirements:
Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience and a track record in
senior program management.Excellence in organizational management
with the ability to coach a senior-level staff to manage and
develop high-performance teams and develop and implement program
strategies;Deep experience in program budgeting and fiscal
management;Track record of effectively leading a direct service
organization with a complex array of programs with the ability to
leverage strengths across program areas; excellent project
management skills;Analytic and decisive decision maker with the
ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and
tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals;Ability to point
to specific examples of having led organizational transformation
projects and program development;Past experience managing human
resources function including personnel, compensation and
recruiting;Unwavering commitment to quality programs and
data-driven program evaluation;Fundraising experience with the
ability to engage a wide range of cultures;Strong written and
verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate
communicator with excellent public speaking skills;Action-oriented,
