SoundHound Inc. builds voice AI products that make it easier for
people to engage with the world around them. We do this by creating
custom voice assistants that make it possible for companies to
extend their brand in new and meaningful ways. Today, our
customized voice AI solutions allow people to talk to phones, cars,
smart speakers, mobile apps, coffee machines, and every other part
of the emerging 'voice-first' world.We are looking for an
analytical senior-level contributor who is familiar with the
software development life cycle (SDLC), has experience working with
engineering teams, and an understanding of technical (e.g. API)
related concepts. This person will focus on our embedded partner
programs while working cross-functionally to increase the breadth
and depth of impact for our partners' end users. You will regularly
meet with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure our
processes, systems, and projects progress appropriately. This role
directly impacts the success of the business by taking ownership
over building meaningful relationships with our partners' while
also ensuring that our voice AI platform software is delivered in a
timely manner to external stakeholders.In this role you will:
- Use sound judgment to drive projects forward, set expectations,
and build positive, trusting relationships through effective
communication and consistent on-time delivery of software
- Manage strategic embedded projects of moderate to high
complexity and scope
- Create a realistic project plan, gather requirements, task
prioritization, track change management, project reporting,
time-tracking, acceptance criteria, and coordination of software
releases
- Work with other PPM and engineering team members to identify
process improvements for a better partner experience
- Provide program updates to stakeholders
- Meet regularly with engineering, business development, and
product teams while also communicating technical concepts to
strategic partners in order to secure and maintain cross functional
alignment We would love to hear from you if:
- You have excellent project management and people skills,
comfortable building relationships, establishing credibility, and
getting things done by connecting with engineers, managers, peers,
and cross-functional teams
- You have experience with Automotive OEMs, IoT, and other
embedded applications
- You have effective organizational skills, attention to detail,
and the ability to ensure items don't "fall through the cracks"
while tracking multiple projects
- You take an analytical and data-driven approach to identify
issues
- You have high-level verbal and written communication skills
with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the
right audience
- You have experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and
G-Suite skills to manage projects from kick-off to completion
- You have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience We'd be
especially excited if you have start-up experience or worked on
teams in AI, ML, voice, or search technology space.Here at

Colorado is $136,500-$169,500 USD/year, however, base pay offered
may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. Stock options will be provided as a component of the
total compensation package for this role, in addition to a full
range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits depending on the
position offered. A sign on bonus may be provided as a component of
total compensation. This information is provided per the Colorado
Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Base pay information is based on
