Job Description:Position Description:The Strategic Project Manager
will support the global Finance leadership team and be responsible
for planning, execution, control, and delivery of project outcomes
on time, within budget and scope.Principal Duties and
Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Support global Finance leadership in planning and executing
strategic, enterprise-wide, transformational process improvement
and technology implementation projects. Define and communicate
project objectives, scope, budget, KPIs/metrics, and timeline to
stakeholders.
- Engage with project teams to collect requirements and define
scope.
- Establish project timelines, considering appropriate variables
such as resource availability, parallel projects, interdependency
of tasks, etc.
- Formulate, propose, and gain approval for project budgets.
- Identify project resource needs, coordinate necessary
resources, and define team member roles and responsibilities.
- Direct, manage, and control the daily activities performed as a
part of a project in a virtual or in-person environment. Also track
and control budget and scope achievement against the approved
timeline.
- Identify and mitigate risk which may impact the successful
delivery of projects. Report risk in timely manner so that it may
be addressed.
- Support Finance leadership in change management efforts.
- Present regular status reports to global Finance leadership and
other key project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects in parallel.Job Specifications:
- Experience in coordinating long-term and short-term planning in
a dynamic environment.
- Experience with systems and technology implementation.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members
across functional disciplines and in multiple business units at all
levels of the organization.
- Ability to organize and prioritize personal and team member
activities effectively.
- Strong communication both written and oral.
- Strong change management skills.
- Experience with O365.
- Experience with Microsoft Projects or similar project tracking
software.
- Ability to collaborate and lead without authority.Required
Education and Experience:
- 7 - 10 years of professional experience within corporate
finance desired. Minimum 3 years of project management experience
in areas of Finance and Accounting is required.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience working in a global, multi-ERP enterprise.
Experience with Infor XA is a plus.
- Ability to motivate and coach team
members.Supervisory/Responsibility:
- Supervise/Lead a project team as neededWork Environment:This is
an office position associated with a manufacturing facility.
Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the
office area, the employee's essential job duties also require the
employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing
area. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when
in the manufacturing area.Position Type:This is a regular,
full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek
will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business
needs.Travel:Occasional domestic and international travel may be
required for this position.Physical Demands:The physical demands
described here are representative of the those performed in the job
duties. The employee sits at a desk and uses a computer for
prolonged periods of time. Performing the role frequently uses
close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office
equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15
