Change Manager Coordinator:
Location : REMOTE (Preferably Central Standard Time Zone)
Office is in Topeka, Kansas
Contract : 6-12 Months: ( option for extension) PLUS full Benefits

Job Description:
Read carefully this is not a typical Management position, not
necessarily a trainer in Change.
Candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects (change
initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget.
Main focus on the people side of change, including changes to
business processes, systems and technology, job roles and
organization structures.
The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change
management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and
usage and minimize resistance.
Will work to drive faster adoption, increase utilization of and
proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
These improvements will increase benefit realization, value
creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Candidate will not have supervisory responsibility, this person
will have to work through many others in the organization to
succeed.
Candidate will act as a coach for project / program managers,
senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of
change sponsor.
Candidate may also provide direct support and coaching to all
levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct
reports through transitions.
Responsibilities:
--- Planning & Strategy:
--- Lead and implement change initiatives related to business
processes and technologies
--- Assist with the development of Professional Services Change
Management methodologies
--- Drive adoption of changes within the organization in compliance
with VMware Change Management methodologies
--- Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder
assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization
transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user
training
--- Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives, and
develop and execute against annual operational plan
--- Stakeholder Facilitation & Project Execution:
--- Lead/facilitate meetings with program / project teams to ensure
an understanding of the current change needs, and jointly develop a
change adoption plan
--- Provide direct support and coaching to program / project
managers, front-line managers, and supervisors as they help their
direct reports through transitions
--- Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional
team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of
global Professional Services Transformation
--- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of
communications and assess the change impact
--- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify
key stakeholders
--- Support training efforts by providing input, documenting
requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of training
programs.
--- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
--- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
--- Create actionable deliverables for the five change management
levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan,
training plan, resistance management plan
--- Support organizational design and definition of roles and
responsibilities
--- Integrate change management activities into project plan
--- Track and report issues
--- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change
progress
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
--- 3+ years of experience in organizational change management
program design and implementation for large, global
transformations
--- 3+ years of experience in project related work experience
preferably in a professional services or consulting team
--- Experience and knowledge of change management principles,
methodologies, and tools
--- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and
through others
--- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational
issues and challenges
--- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and
phases of the project lifecycle
--- Experience with large-scale professional services
organizational change efforts
--- Travel up to 25% may be required
Must Have recap:
Understand impact assessments
3+ years experience in Change Management
Need to understand the fundamentals of Change Management
Can build up a stakeholder matrix
Understand alignment between communications and project management,
how to tell a story and understand the level of work, and create
templates that others can use.
Tools: Word, Excel, Power Point
Smartsheet's ( a plus )
Education:
--- Change management certification or designation desired
--- BA or BS Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational
Behavior, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
