Position Overview

As Director of Global Product Marketing at Climate LLC you are responsible for the product vision that enables user attraction, growth, activity, retention and value enabling Climate / DFS to digitally transform agriculture. You will define the customer segments, unique needs and value propositions, and value capture strategies that align with our enterprise strategy. Additionally, you will understand the competitive landscape and uniquely position our digital tools for maximum impact. You will engage our regional Climate / DFS commercial teams to ensure alignment with effective go to market approaches.What You Will Do:

  • Lead creation of a digital product vision that meets and delights our key customer segments and grows our business.
  • Lead development of uses cases, features, price, packaging, distribution and value propositions for Climate products & technologies globally by leading the development and collection of market research, competitive intelligence and market demographics
  • Partner with the Market & Customer Insights Team to engage with alpha, beta and current customers to get feedback that informs product development; be the voice of the customer collaborating with Product Domain Leads and Venture Leads to market current and develop future digital product concepts as well as new business models
  • Provide leadership and coordination to the regional Product marketing managers ensuring that key priorities have the proper support throughout the development process.
  • Coordinate with Product to ensure strong connectivity and alignment with each product domain lead as we enable and bring to market different products, technologies and services to each business segment/category (farmers, dealers, OEMs, insurance providers, etc.)
  • Lead digital value assessment and implementation reflecting monetization alternatives collaborating to define the platform messaging hierarchy relative to segments/regions (current and future platform relevance and differentiation)
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current and future Climate products and services
  • Manage development of real-world success story narratives for use in marketing, sales and training
  • Collaborate with: Regional Teams, Sales, Product Management, Training, Science, Engineering, Data Analytics and SupportBasic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Agriculture, business, marketing or related field
    • Demonstrated experience in brand / product management, preferably in developing new Brands / products or managing brand / product growth in new markets
    • 12+ years relevant experience in Software, Marketing, or Sales, preferably in agriculture
    • Experience working cross-functionally across different organization
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • The demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence a broad set of internal stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:
      • MBA or Masters Degree
      • Demonstrated experience working with global markets
      • Strong background in row crop agronomics, farming practices and/or distribution
      • Skilled public speaker
      • Self-starter, with the demonstrated ability to drive results in a highly dynamic environment
      • Flexible, can-do attitude, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities is a must
      • Ability to think strategically
      • Ability to articulate a vision and translate that into action
