Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Director, Commercial Services, the Senior Manager develops a data-centric strategy to incorporate into the Company's commercial services approach. This position will operate as the data hub for the organization, and the focus will be to evaluate the need for data analytics, and leverage or develop the appropriate analytical tools to support strategy development, operational and financial metric reporting, and planning, all while improving response times.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Senior support resource in the commercial services organization, with specific responsibilities of elevating the groups' data centricity and focus
Identify data, key metrics, and analytical tools that will direct internal teams' decision making
Develop new metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), that are grounded in reliable data sets, to drive strategic and proactive planning
Identify existing tools, and determine opportunities to streamline, with the goal of creating efficiencies that lead to quicker analysis and outcomes
Supports strategy development projects, notably by developing market knowledge, contributing to the strategy, target-setting, and planning process, contributing to and challenging the brand strategies and initiatives as well as planning of capital expenditure.
Assesses market risk and opportunities through analysis, as well as financial and operational performance
Ensures internal databases accurately reflect and report airline catering market landscape
Key liaison with our Business Development organization, supporting all sales administration and support elements, as part of the broader strategy to drive new business
Provide key market research on adjacent markets that direct our non-airline growth efforts
Supports the development of commercial proposals, leveraging technical skills to build dynamic pricing models
Develop and report metrics that provide our business development sales team the tools to drive sales
Creates and maintains sales pipeline tracking database, with emphasis on key metrics, to create prioritization and transparency
Develop a database repository to collect market intelligence specific to adjacent markets and non-airline customers
Supports internal reporting of KPIs, and facilitates reporting from customers into a reporting platform
Maintains tools used to analyze flight data, providing statistics to drive effective action plans for future adjustments.
Identifies opportunities to leverage and standardize metrics across all commercial accounts, driving consistency and efficiency
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required
MBA preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, financial planning and analysis, and/or airline catering industries required
Previous experience in Business Development or Project Management preferred

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses, and Registration)
Must be able to obtain AOA access
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a valid passport

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Large scale catering operations or logistics, airline catering experience preferred
Sales and/or customer service experience
Able to shift roles and responsibilities as business needs change.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Able to find innovative ways to solve problems

Language / Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing with senior executives. Fluency in a foreign language is beneficial to the position, however not mandatory.
