THE OPPORTUNITY:The Director of Marketing is responsible for the on-time and on budget execution and measurement of integrated and creative brand marketing initiatives across the BevSource portfolio of brands. You will manage the marketing process from planning and strategy through execution and analysis. You will leverage your strong, agile leadership skills while expressing your creative skills in an innovative and fast-paced industry. Reporting directly to the EVP of Sales & Marketing, you will be a critical member of the Management Team and will lead a marketing team of 2 - 4 direct reports and a Taproom team of 1 direct reports.

  • LMA (Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable) the marketing team of two including managing performance reviews, establish and manage projects, setting compensation, training, and day to day performance management
  • Create and own marketing strategy, goals, roadmap, processes, and budget
  • Manage The Lab Taproom revenue & Taproom General Manager
  • Monitor and maintain costs and budgets
  • Manage and implement current software tools and licensing
  • Manage 3rd party providers (Consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers), including negotiation and management of service agreements and contracts
  • Lead the achievement of short-, mid- and long-term growth goals by developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive a volume of qualified partnership opportunities
  • Oversee marketing and communications efforts including lead generation, brand positioning, PR, content strategy, marketing automation, email, social media, website, collateral, advertising, digital marketing, regulatory guidelines, internal communications, etc.
  • Build brand reputation and visibility with industry experts
  • Coordinates cross-functional input, deliverables, timelines, and communicate properly documented progress and issues of campaigns to senior leadership
  • Develop, manage, and execute PR programs to advance communications and brand engagement
  • Measure and optimize consumer engagement across different channels
  • Manage digital operations including content creation, deployment, testing and reporting
  • Work to meet all sales targets, plan sales strategies, analyze sales data, and work to expand sales
  • Work cross-functionally with Directors and Managers to align on marketing needs to support the advancement of the BevSource portfolio of brands
  • Maintain awareness in market changes and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
  • Direct, plan and oversee the marketing strategies of the taproom products and services
  • Act as subject matter expert to leadership on issues relating to effective marketing
  • Manage KPI's to optimize results and measure performance of the team.
  • Develop and implement key processes and systems to support the success of the marketing team
  • Manage the hiring process with HR which includes reviewing resumes, conducting face-to-face interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Other duties as assigned
    • You have 7+ years' experience in B2C/B2B marketing, E-Commerce experience a plus
    • You have 5+ years' management experience, team of at least 4 people preferred
    • You have bachelor's degree in a business concentration preferred, or equivalent work history
    • You have the proven ability to lead, inspire and influence a team
    • You able to bring brands to life in innovative ways across digital and other media channels
    • You demonstrate experience managing the execution of consumer-focused integrated marketing campaigns including partnerships, experiential, media and creative; CPG experience preferred
    • You are high energy and desire to learn and grow
    • You have a history of driving continuous customer and prospective customer engagement
    • You have proven experience in driving marketing's contribution to revenue
    • You have a demonstrated track record of delivering business results
    • You have high integrity and a character with emphasis on attention to details with robust organization skills
    • You display strong collaboration skills and have experience working with key stakeholders
    • You maintain extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
    • You have the proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns and strategies
    • You maintain a strong foundation in brand and business strategy
    • You can work independently and prioritize duties with a strong sense of urgency; self-directed to accomplish assignments and meet deadlines
    • You can work in a fast-paced environment, where innovation and creativity is essential, and priorities shift frequently
    • You are a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude

    • You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
