Full Time Director of Operations & Finance Position Summary The Director of Operations & Finance is a professional administrator in support of the Pastor. This minister is a steward of the physical, financial and personnel resources of the Parish and School, and enables the other ministries to function efficiently and effectively. The Director of Operations & Finance is a person of faith, committed to Gospel values. He or she values the Catholic Parish and responsible management of resources and helps the Church fulfill its mission and purpose. Knowledge& Experience Requirements--- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field--- Minimum5 years' experience in parish based ministry/management--- Previous supervisory experience required Skills& Attitudes Required for Success in Job--- Must be a practicing catholic and be able to sign the Archdiocesan Christian Witness Statement--- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality--- Knowledge of Catholic Sacraments--- Skills in administration and public speaking--- Ability to work with committees--- Knowledge and skills in budgeting, finance and management--- Knowledge and skill in selection, supervision, oversight and evaluation of staff--- Knowledge of audit procedures, long range planning and Archdiocesan norms for budget planning, preparation and execution Qualified candidates may submit their resume and cover letter, including salary requirements to kellert@assumptionstl.org.
