Serve as the clinical leader in the identification, adoption and optimization of clinical technology strategies and systems in support of high reliability healthcare delivery.
What You Will Do

• Partner with leadership in the evaluation, implementation and optimization of clinical technology systems. Drive technology adoption in support of high reliability healthcare delivery and improvement in quality and safety outcomes.
• Participate in the strategic planning process and works closely with senior leadership in the development of clinical strategies, achievement of targets and outcome improvement.
• Provide reports to leadership regarding utilization, adoption and experience of clinicians, patients and consumers with technology systems.
• Serve as principal clinical representative regarding communication optimization of emerging technologies and companies.
• Collaborate with Ascension Technology leadership on managing an active portfolio of research, development and experimental technology partners to determine their relevance, value and organizational applicability.
• Work with Ascension Technology and clinical leadership groups to design, operationalize and optimize the governance of clinical information systems, clinical data management environments, and clinical analytic platforms.
• Formulate and implement operational strategies and initiatives. Provide oversight, planning and coordination for clinician participation in design, testing and training required to implement clinical--systems effectively.
• Ensure short- and long-term goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with plans and budgets.
  What You Will Need
  
  Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:--
    • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.Work Experience:--
      • 7 years of experience required.
      • 10 years of experience preferred.
      • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
