Traffic/Ad Ops Director-Remote Opportunity in the U.S. Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity to add this newly created position to our team. In this role, you will lead our traffic/ad operations team, developing the vision and processes needed to distribute digital, print, broadcast and out-of-home creative assets to vendors, as well as ensure proper tracking for monitoring performance. As a vital member of the media team, you will provide technical launch and management support across traditional and digital media campaigns. This position will report to the Vice President of Media and may be based anywhere in the U.S. Responsibilities

• Establish the vision, systems and processes for trafficking and ad operations across the agency
• Reflect the agency core values and vision in all work and lead and inspire the team to follow high standards
• Drive innovation and creative solutions for brands
• Collaborate with media strategist/buyer on pre-campaign launch/planning to develop space/material close dates and organize due dates across all creative assets
• Manage and maintain element lists/trafficking documents--
• Work closely with internal teams to provide up-to-date information for creative development as well as inform the media team of potential issues related to launch timing
• Secure material due date extensions from vendors as needed
• Manage templates and upload digital plan details to platforms for trafficking execution
• Execute trafficking instructions and traffic assets to media partners
• Confirm seamless launch of campaign across all media partners and placements
• Pull ad server reports to confirm impression delivery and work with media partners to confirm accuracy of campaign launch
• Engage with media partners and internal teams on campaign management support and issues
• Troubleshoot execution workflow across creative tags and 1x1 pixels for site served placements
• Optimize campaigns by making plan updates, addressing creative asset issues, updating creative assets and executing creative optimizations
• Lead and manage the assigned team, including hiring staff and establishing and encouraging a performance-driven culture based on curiosity that results in action--
• Manage performance and motivate the team in a manner that elevates the performance of the entire team and drives performance that exceeds our clients' and the agency's business objectives Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in digital/traditional operations at advertising/media agencies, including coordinating creative, trafficking ads, and troubleshooting issues within an executional workflow
  • Minimum of three years of experience hiring and managing teams, developing processes, and mentoring individual employees--
  • Experience with Google Campaign Manager and Comcast Ad Delivery/FreeWheel
  • Familiarity with social platforms, Google Suite and Moat Analytics preferred
  • Familiarity with media planning, buying and analysis
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and execute tactical responsibilities effectively according to shared timelines
  • Deep understanding of and passion for the ad-tech landscape
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality audits
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working on a growing team is a plus
