Company The Defense Space Government Design Safety Core team within
Enterprise Safety is seeking a Senior (Level 4 or Level 5)
Aerospace System Safety Engineer to join our organization onsite in
St Louis City, MO . We are seeking passionate teammates to help us

across the company and develop enduring product safety design
processes, practices, and solutions to assure the safety, quality,
integrity, and mission success of our products and services. Our

Enterprise Safety works with wider design, test, modifications and
sustainment organizations within/across the business units to
develop and put in place the appropriate policies, procedures,
capabilities, skill competencies, tool suites (Model Based Systems
Engineering), standards, and training supporting product/system
safety consistent with Boeing’s Safety Management System (SMS), and
industry best practices like ARP4761 and Mil-Std-882E. Primary
responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to
understand the challenges related to performing safety analysis
activities consistent with applicable industry standards (e.g.
ARP4754, ARP4761, Mil-Std-882E) Develop relevant process guidance,
training content, best practice documentation, or model-based
capabilities specific to system safety and mission assurance
Contribute to our Safety Engineering College by developing training
material to educate the wider engineering team on product safety
fundamentals including: FHAs (functional hazard analysis), FTAs
(fault tree analysis), FMEAs (failure mode & effects analysis),
Development Assurance, software safety, use of newly developed
tools, etc Investigate model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
to digitally connect, store, and integrate critical safety
deliverables like Functional Hazards Assessments, Fault Trees,
Cascading Effects, and advanced safety analyses This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at the listed location. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from
an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering
technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology),
chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Level 4: 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience Level 5: 14 years of
related work experience or an equivalent combination of education
and experience This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.
Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S.
Citizenship. A final post-start U.S. Top Secret clearance and
Special Program Access is required. 2 years of leadership
experience do you have leadership experience in the development of
a System Safety Hazard Analyses (e.g. System Hazard, Subsystem
Hazard, Fault Tree, Failure Modes & Effects, Reliability, or
Maintainability) Ability to travel 10-20% of the time Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): Experience
effectively communicating, both verbally and in writing, and
collaborating on multi-discipline teams Experience with Model-Based
Engineering (MBE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience in traditional engineering analytical methods and
Aerospace/Industry standards (SAE ARP 4761) Experience in systems
design and/or systems analysis and/or systems integration
Experience managing Agile Methodologies Experience leading and
influencing cross-functional teams Experience working with cross
discipline engineering teams Experience do you have with
architecture modeling tools (e.g. Rational System Architect,
Rational Software Architect, MagicDraw, Cameo Enterprise

Summary Pay Range : Senior (Level 4): $131,750 - $178,250 Senior
(Level 5): $159,800 - $216,200 Language Requirements: Not
