Position : Contingent Maintenance Worker Location : Saint Louis, MO Duration : 3 Months Contract Shift timings : 1st shift [Mon. Thurs. 6AM - 4:30PM with OT as needed ] Total Hours/week : 40.00 Description: Support production of V. Mueller and Snowden Pencer product lines and equipment/facility Repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment including mechanical systems. Disassemble, select repair procedure, order parts as needed and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools Performs preventative maintenance operations including safety and environmental systems as prescribed by system Perform routine carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the facility Operates within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Performance of operations which require finite motor skills and manual dexterity. Movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds from one area to another. Posture is primarily standing/walking with bending and limited sitting and twisting. Visual acuity to detect subtle visual non-conformities. Install new facility LED lightening from man lift 23’ up in air Clean facility equipment, wipe down Clean facility overhead walls, utilities including air lines, electrical, and duct work Organize maintenance mezzanine and department, dispose of obsolete materials, label needed supplies to quickly locate Demo old equipment that is duplicated with new system and relocate bulk oil storage equipment to new location
