growth. Find your future with us. Boeing Defense Space & Security
is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineer to join us as
part of our Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) In-Service and Project
Engineering team located in Richardson, TX or Berkeley, MO. The
Advanced Airborne Sensor is a multi-function radar used on the P-8
Poseidon. The team is responsible for developing and performing
engineering for production, sustainment, modification and
improvements of military and commercial derivative aircraft. This
position will work closely with the supply chain, suppliers,
program manager, contracts, estimating, engineering, and/or
customers to execute the program. In this role you integrate
technical requirements and schedule demands with suppliers,
coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the
product, manage a diverse set of projects, and lead proposal
development. Primary Responsibilities Provide technical leadership
and day-to-day management of suppliers, including regular
engagement with supply chain to monitor and improve supplier
performance. Serve as Equipment Manager for multiple sub
assemblies. Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers,
customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers. Communicate
program status, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers
and leadership, and clearly articulate required support or
decisions. Develop clear, compliant supplier statements of work
(SSOW) for ongoing and new requirements, and lead execution to
ensure on-time, on-scope delivery. Collaborate with customers to
define technical requirements and translate them into actionable
delivery plans. Generate an effective set of metrics to communicate
status of contract deliverables. Manage program deliverables by
developing risk-mitigation strategies, tracking issues and
opportunities, and monitoring baseline plans to evaluate project
performance and capture lessons learned. Communicate technical
issues/changes via Change Control Boards and/or Chief Engineer
Council Resolve technical problems by coordinating between
engineering, operations, and suppliers to implement effective
solutions. Support proposal development efforts, including
competitive cost estimating, schedule development, and delivery
commitments. Track and report progress against cost, schedule, and
technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best
Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM). Provide
additional program support as needed, such as responding to
Corrective Action Requests (CARs), supporting export compliance,
and leading lean/process improvement initiatives. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security
Clearance and/ or Export Control This position requires an active
U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and
ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. (A U.S. Security
Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered
active). Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access or other
Government Access requirements are mandatory for this position.
Certain Special Programs require that the candidate have only U.S.
Citizenship or no dual citizenship. Much of the work at The Boeing
Company is of a classified nature and many positions require a
security clearance, the granting of which is at the discretion of
Government authorities. A final security clearance is mandatory for
this position prior to start. If you cannot or do not obtain the
required final Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access or
other Government Access requirements in a time frame established by

clearances are granted, if they are not maintained, the result may

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience) Bachelor of
Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including
Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry 3 or more years of related work
experience I would like to remove this since it is implied in the
level 5 or more years of experience as a systems engineer with
technical knowledge on aircraft subsystems (mechanical and/or
electrical) Experience managing supplier performance and/or
requirements flow-down Travel Up to 20% travel required Preferred
Qualifications 5 or more years’ related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent
written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills Experience with customer proposals and contracting process

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $112,200 - 162,150 Summary pay
range for Senior:$136,850 - 197,800 Applications for this position
