your future with us. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is
seeking a Lead Model-Based Systems Engineer (Level 4) to join the
Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Team in Berkeley, MO.
Boeing Phantom Works is building the next generation of combat
aircraft and the required infrastructure to test and validate
designs; we're looking for enthusiastic systems engineers to join
us on that journey. As part of the Electromagnetic Verification
Facility (EMVF) team you'll provide engineering leadership to a
team comprised of multiple skill areas, develop statements of work
(SOW), work with customers and management, manage changes to the
SOW and conduct impact analysis, and provide technical, business,
and integration leadership for the development and execution of the

Position Responsibilities - Support/lead system architecture
development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define
interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains -
Maintain alignment within the EMVF team and with our suppliers and
customers; identify obstacles and work as a team to remove them. -
Support/lead the program in implementing MBSE as part of the
broader digital engineering ecosystem - Support/lead development
and provide quality review for EVMF deliverables in collaboration
with other engineering teams. - Support management in maintaining
cost, schedule, risks, issues, opportunities, and technical
baselines for the EVMF effort, and support identification, tracking
and proactive management of metrics for program execution and
product performance. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time;
Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
(U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has
been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) - Bachelor of Science
degree from an accredited course of study in engineering,
engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering
technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or
computer science - 7 years related work experience or an equivalent
combination of technical education and experience - Experience with
one of the following: - Planning and execution of verification
certification or acceptance test efforts (lab, ground and/or flight
tests) - Decomposition of Government or customer standards,
development of certification or integrity plans, execution of
verification/certification programs - Development of deliverables
requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines -
Prior Systems Engineering experience to include but not limited to
system design, functional decomposition, requirements development,
analysis, verification, and validation - Experience with MBSE,
Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience) - Experience developing and/or managing program
baselines - Demonstrated experience developing system architectures
for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE
(SysML/MSOSA) - Performing or closely supporting development of
architecture, requirements and verification for RF systems
(Communications, radar, electromagnetic environmental effects (E3),
etc.) or RF test systems/facilities. - Prior leadership in system
architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience
communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers
- Understanding of various engineering analyses, including
affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability,
human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability,
susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product
assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred
configuration to ensure mission success - Background systems
engineering processes such as RIO and TPM management, technical
review planning/execution, etc. Conflict of Interest Successful
