Job Description:
Aircraft Maintenance Technician V (Weekend Nights) in GAC St.
Louis $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible. Unique Skills: Looking for
support on 5th shift (Weekend Nights). Additional Requirement Able
to read and interpret aircraft blueprints. The compensation range
for this role is $44.18 - $51.54 per hour. Final compensation for
this role will be determined by several factors including but not
limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge,
skills, abilities, education, experience, and location. Gulfstream

accident insurance. Education and Experience Requirements High
School Diploma or GED required. 8 years aviation maintenance
experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) to include 4
years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience. A&P (FAA
Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver's License
required. Position Purpose:Perform various technical functions of
aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key
aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Demonstrate
expertise in aircraft maintenance and perform troubleshooting and
repair duties requiring a high degree of accuracy and skill. Job
Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential
Functions: 1. Perform required. maintenance and necessary servicing
of all aircraft mechanical systems . 2. Repair, maintain, install,
and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the
aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear,
electrical components, and control systems . 3. Coordinate with
inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection
and documentation requirements . 4. Properly complete work order
sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paper work in a timely manner
. 5. Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and
specifications . 6. Properly identify (tag) customer property and
equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property
securely and safely . 7. Follow standard operating procedures and
JSAs when operating ground support equipment . 8. Operate and
oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and
installations of major components . 9. Coordinate with other
departments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer
property as needed . Additional Functions: 1. Apply 6S and Lean
Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .
2. Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment .
3. Act on behalf of Lead, as needed . 4. Coordinate movement of
aircraft, as required. . 5. Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA
regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality
Control manuals, and company policies and procedures . Perform
other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: 1. Advanced knowledge
of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft
models and systems. 2. Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical
reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins,
structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.). 3.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English
