your future with us. The Boeing Company Modeling & Simulation team
is currently looking for a Modeling and Systems Engineer to join
their team in Hazelwood, Missouri or Berkeley, Missouri. As a
Systems Engineer in this organization, the candidate will have the
opportunity to develop and implement systems engineering processes
and tools for current and future development and production
programs. These activities provide a technical foundation for
digital sustainment and decision support for our internal and
external customers. The position offers exposure to the entire
development life cycle of our products with an emphasis on
operations and support. This position will involve working on a
team that develops our model-based sustainment simulation
capability. It further entails working with our customers to define
and execute supportability trade studies based on fleet data, to
experiment and test the results of anticipated events, and to test
the effectiveness of alternative responses, to help our customers
make better informed decisions. We employ an agile development
methodology in order to rapidly respond to customer needs. The
systems engineering processes will focus on functional, logical,
and operational architectures, requirements development and
management, logistics and supply chain network, lifecycle cost and
mission analyses. Frequent engagements with other program leaders
and subject matter experts are expected and this position offers
broad visibility to diverse programs across Boeing. This position

services programs. The successful candidate will be highly
motivated and work well with cross-functional teams including
software and data science. The ability to maintain and develop
plans/schedules and to monitor and report schedule performance is
required. Good oral and written communication are essential to
success in this position. Background in one or more of the
following areas: logistics support, modeling and simulation
analysis (logistics, operations, cost), software development,
integration and test, data science and animation/visualization. Our
teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels
including; Mid-Level or Senior Modeling and Systems Engineers.
Position Responsibilities: - Develop, document, and elicit customer
requirements to outline stakeholder scenarios for analysis - Assess
operational availability, mission effectiveness, cost for baseline,
adverse part reliability, and mitigation scenarios to transform
stakeholder scenarios into trade study requests using
pre-configured templates. - Support the selection, configuration,
and implementation of appropriate analysis models to align with
outlined stakeholder requirements - Produce meaningful analysis
through evaluation of sustainment strategies to improve fleet
performance by integrating models for supply chain and logistics,
mission operations, and life-cycle cost - Coordinate with the
customer and present trade-study analysis results at customer
engagements in the Virtual Sustainment Center (VSC) using a
standard suite of analysis dashboards - Support modification of
simulation models and trade study definitions to address different
scenarios and decision support questions - Support model
optimization tasks and release testing to incorporate capability
enhancements into modeling suite - Support the development and
maintenance of product roadmaps and system lifecycle plans - Lead
and manage a project by define tasks, schedule, and budget Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor of Science
degree from an accredited course of study in engineering,
engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering
technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or
computer science - 3 years of experience in systems engineering
(requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture
design and trade design) - 3 years' experience building stakeholder
and customer relationships - Experience with operations, logistics
modeling and supply chain modeling - Simulation analysis experience
specifically covering both discrete event simulations and trade
study models. - Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 5 or more
years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience - 5 years of experience in systems
engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification,
architecture design and trade design) - 5 years' experience
building stakeholder and customer relationships - Agile development
experience - Familiarity with modeling tools such AFSIM, LSAS, OPUS
and/or SIMLOX - Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
(MBSE) - Software development, integration and test, data science

considerations. Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $97,750
- $132,250 Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $119,850 -
