Job Description:

Title: Service Desk Engineer - Tier III

Remote/On-site/Hybrid: REMOTE
Location: St Louis, MO
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Start Date: ASAP
Payrate: $28-32/hr

MISSION: Provide expert-level support for critical technical issues, guide process improvement efforts, and ensure high-quality service delivery to clients by acting as the escalation point for Tier II analysts.


MUST-HAVES:
2 - 3 years of experience in a similar position.
2-3 years of hands-on support experience in an MSP environment.
Advanced technical knowledge in Windows servers, networking protocols, and endpoint support.
Solid experience with Meraki devices, network troubleshooting, and email security systems.
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and support tasks.
Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

DAY TO DAY:
Resolve escalated Tier III support tickets involving complex networking, server, or email system issues, using deep technical knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Provide direct support and mentorship to Tier II analysts by reviewing escalated tickets, offering coaching, and helping document technical resolutions.
Administer and troubleshoot networking equipment, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points-primarily within Meraki environments.
Support and maintain office 365 and GSuite environments, including account setups, email flow troubleshooting, and security/filtering tools like Mimecast, Defender, or Barracuda.
Create and maintain detailed documentation in IT Glue and Kaseya, ensuring that recurring issues are well-documented and can be resolved efficiently by junior staff.
Write and execute PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline support workflows.
