Position Summary:
Our team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer. A learning and
support position, the project engineer is the first step in
autonomous project management of construction projects. The project
engineer will be responsible for project documentation and
compliance items such as RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes,
daily/weekly reports. Project Engineers also assist the project
manager on other project management functions and assist the
project superintendents on field management items.

Assistance and Learning of Additional Responsibilities on the way
to becoming a Project Manager:
Conceptual and Hard Bid Estimating
Subcontractor and Supplier Bid Solicitation
Bid Analysis and Recommendations for Award
Project Scheduling (Master CPM schedule and 4-week look ahead
schedules)
Job Start-up activities.
Permitting
Insurance
Utilities
Preconstruction meetings
Sequence Schedules and Site Staging Plans
Change Requests
Cost Projections

Skills/knowledge:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
Management.
1-3 years experience as a Project Engineer.
Represent the Company and project teams in a positive manner in all
project meetings.
Able to meet deadlines on multiple projects under different stages
of progress in a positive and productive manner.
Excellent oral and written skills required.
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office
suite programs.
All other duties as assigned.

General:
Reporting Relationship: -Director of Construction Operations.
Supervisory Responsibility: -There are no direct reports for this
position.
Work Environment: -This job requires approximately 60% office
presence and 40% field jobsite presence potentially spread over
several states.
Physical Demands: -This position requires no minimum to lift, bend
or stand. Safety must be top priority as this position operates in
potentially hazardous conditions.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: -This is a full-time
position. Workdays are predominantly Monday-Friday and hours of
work vary depending on project size, location, and work
deadlines.
Travel: -Travel is primarily locally during the business day,
although some out of the area travel and overnight may be
expected.
