The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an
Electromagnetic Environmental Effect (E3) Engineer (Level 1&2).
This will be apart of the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects
(E3) Design Integration Team located in St. Louis, MO. The team is
responsible for various tasks including but not limited to
analysis, concept development, design implementation, and
verification tasks on various Boeing Defense programs. Candidate
will work under guidance from senior team member.
Primary responsibilities include the identification, analysis,
requirements allocation, coordination, application, and
verification of E3 design requirements on various communication
systems, sensors, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic
systems and components to ensure compliance with system performance
requirements. Responsibilities also include E3 program planning,
authoring E3 support documentation, continuous program E3 oversight
and visibility, and product manufacturing support.
The position requires interfacing with multiple disciplines across
The Boeing Company (Engineering, Product Support, Manufacturing,
etc.), external customers and suppliers as well as multiple levels
of the organization to manage compliance to design integration
requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various
communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic
systems and components.
Performs basic analysis to predict component performance to
established requirements.
Conducts simple tests to validate performance of designs to
requirements. Collects data on supplier and partner performance to
ensure compliance to requirements.
Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle.
Supports project management by gathering project status data.
Gathers information to support development of sections of proposals
to support development of new business.
Works under close supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate
will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location
options.
Export Control:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security
Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is
required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from
an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2023
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and work
streams
Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience or education with electromagnetic theory and advanced
mathematics necessary to perform or conduct electromagnetic
analysis, design, modeling, and testing
Knowledge of associated MIL Standards for E3
Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
Engineering experience with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility),
EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) or E3 (Electromagnetic
Environmental Effects)
Experience in a role that required strong written and verbal
skills
Demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for
completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
Team player, able to work in a collaborative environment
Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24
months
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range for Entry Level 1: $66,300-89,700
Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $79,900-108,100

defined by 22 C.F.R. -120.15 is required.
