EFK Moen, LLC, a growing transportation-oriented civil engineering design firm with offices in Illinois, Missouri and Georgia, is currently seeking a full-time mid-level roadway design engineer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their skills in providing high-quality design services to a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. As a small firm of 60 employees, EFK Moen offers engineers a very flexible work experience with a wide range of technical challenges. In addition, there is potential for future growth into roles with more direct responsibility for client/customer satisfaction.
EFK Moen, LLC would like to meet with career-oriented Civil Engineers with the following qualifications, skills and abilities:

• 
  
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university
  
• At least 2 years of hands-on plan preparation experience for public agency roadway projects
  
• Registration as an Engineer Intern or Professional Engineer
  
• Proficiency in Microstation as well as a related roadway design package (OpenRoads Designer, Geopak, Inroads, MX) although candidates with an AutoCAD/Civil3D background will also be considered.
  
• Experience with drainage or signage design is a plus
  
• Familiarity with DOT/AASHTO Standards
  
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
  
• Proficiency with Excel and other general office software
