Based in our St. Louis, MO location, we are accepting applications from candidates who are starting a career in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering Technology.
  AS AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING CO-OP, YOU WILL:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Perform electrical testing & data collection
    
    
  • 
    Conduct functional analysis of both prototype and assembly circuitry
    
    
  • 
    Debug both assemblies and specific circuits that do not match design criteria
    
    
  • 
    Find correlation between simulated/calculated data and test data
    
    
  • 
    Curve fitting this data by constructing a curve, or mathematical function, that has the best fit to a series of data points
    
    
  • 
    Develop methods to optimize the time required to analyze this data
    
    
  • 
    Assist with higher-fidelity characterization tasks involved with our zero-speed sensorless algorithms
    
    
  • 
    Assist with other general engineering tasks as directed by supervisor

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

      Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related field
      
      
    • 
      Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
      
      
    • 
      Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
      
      
    • 
      Excellent verbal, and written communication
      
      
    • 
      Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
      
      
      PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering Technology
        
        
      • 
        Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
        
        
      • 
        Sophomore or higher class status preferred
        
        
      • 
        Completion of at least one Electrical Engineering lab class is preferred
        
        
      • 
        Experience utilizing Matlab for data analysis
        
        
      • 
        Familiarization with the operation of digital oscilloscopes, function generators, low voltage dc supplies, and digital volt meters is preferred
        
        
      • 
        Experience using Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
