Open Systems Technologies Corporation is seekingan experienced Test Engineer to provide Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. As a Test Engineer on this program, you will have the opportunity to perform software development to implement scripts, evaluate test results, and feedback loops in a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Responsible for managing the completion of initiatives or projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas.
  
• Reports concerns and technical solutions with internal team members and management
  
• May brief parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.).
  
• Works to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
  
• Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines.
  
• Participate in program Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, Increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications throughiteration/functionalitytesting
  
• Lead and collaborate with team members across the program to assess tickets to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria
  
• Collaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Developers) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets
  
• Develop test validation scripts using program designated languages (ex: Python, Java)
  
• Develop automated test cases for continued product release quality.
  
• Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts are maintained the continuously improved using task management system(JIRA/Confluence)
  
• Perform job duties within Commercial cloud development environments
  
  Required Skills:
  
  • 
    
  • CLEARANCE: clearable for a Top Secret, active TS preferred
    
    
    • 
      
    • Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience: OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree
      
    • Ability to test both back end applications processes in addition to front end
      
    • Significant experience with scripting languages (ex: Python) to automate tasks
      
    • Significant experience in test data/script development
      
    • Knowledge of or direct experience with software performance testing practices
      
    • Direct experience with creation, authoring, execution and documentation of test cases/result sets for software products in an agile cadence
      
    • Significant experience working/testing within Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex: AWS) and DevOps tools
      
    • Demonstrated ability to work within collaborative environment to execute test cases complimentary to development efforts
      
    • Significant experience working in an SAFe Agile and DevOps development environment and tempo
      
      Desired Skills:
      
      • 
        
      • Experience reviewing outputs and capable of tracking test failures back to code changes that resulted in bugs
        
      • Experience with Selenium
        
      • Capable of review code check-ins to understand the impact of code changes on system functionality and potential applications bugs.
        
      • Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
        
      • At least 1 year of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and git version control
        
      • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
        
      • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
        
      • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
        
      • At least 1 year of experience with Cloud/AWS
        
      • At least 1 year of experience with Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
        
      • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred
