About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with experience in Business Intelligence tools that will work on multiple data repositories within Wealth Investment Management Technology. This role will drive and deliver BI reporting and will be responsible for supporting complex business activities through developing best-in-class BI reporting solutionsIn this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals Required Qualifications, US:
    • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 4+ years of BI Reporting Development experience using MicroStrategy, Tableau or PowerBI as a BI tool
    • 3+ years of MicroStrategy schema architecture experience
    • 2+ years of experience with MicroStrategy Reporting Services Documents
    • 1+ years of experience with MicroStrategy Freeform SQL reportsDesired Qualifications:
      • MicroStrategy Administration experience with Version upgrades a plus
      • 4+ years of SQL, PL/SQL development and performance tuning skills
      • 3+ years AGILE experience using SCRUM/KANBAN
      • Experience migrating legacy BI platforms to cloud and modern architecture
      • Ability to track, troubleshoot and document issues and work with Vendor support
      • 3+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
      • 2+ years of Autosys experience
      • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure is plus
      • Brokerage or financial services experience is preferred
      • 4+ years of Build and CICD technologies experience
      • Demonstration and presentation facilitation skills
      • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.Job Expectations:
