Mechanical Engineering Co-Op will develop both lab and design
skills by building prototypes, performing product validation and
testing, doing 2D and 3D design, and performing simulation and
analysis. They will work with other members of the New Product
Development and Sustaining Engineering teams to solve
manufacturing, customer, quality, and engineering problems with
existing Comfort Control products.As a Mechanical Engineering
Co-Op, YOU WILL:
- Assist with prototyping
- Assist with other general engineering tasks as directed by
supervisor
- Generate 2D and 3D drawings
- Operate laboratory test equipment, machine shop tools, and data
acquisition equipment
- Perform data collectionREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES &
SKILLS:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or
related field
- Sophomore or higher class status
- Able to work full-time during the scheduled semester
- Basic skills in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship

& SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or
Mechatronics
- 2.75 cumulative GPA
- Fundamental concepts of the following mechanical engineering
principles: Mechanics of Materials, Electrical AC/DC Circuits,
Machine Dynamics, Engineering Design, Fluid Dynamics, and Applied
