Job Description:
The Global Booking Orchestration (GBO) Department is excited to
announce an opportunity for an Engineer 2 to join our dynamic team.
This role will work in an Agile environment and will be responsible
for designing, developing, building, testing, implementing and
supporting critical solutions for Enterprise Holdings. The GBO team
is responsible for the development and production support of our
consumer mobile apps for National and CarShare. We work closely
with our Business Stakeholders from around the globe, for all our
brands, to make enhancements to our applications and to stay ahead
in our ever-evolving global operations. You will be working with
other engineers, business analysts, project managers, and managers
to provide viable recommendations for implementing new
solutions.Job dutiesWorks with Mobile Architects and participates
in technical design, as needed.Develops code for mobile app
solutions to meet business requirementsUnderstands how to develop
reusable code and DRY principleParticipates in and contributes to
code reviewsIncorporates mobile security mindset into all design &
coding decisions and daily job responsibilitiesWorks closely with
Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, and Product Owner to
understand requirementsEffectively communicates with people of
varying levels of technical knowledge & expertiseWrites and
executes unit tests & supports QA in all testing activitiesAssists
with technical project documentationThis role is open to candidates
